Processors Socket AMD AM4
PROCESSOR AMD AM4 RYZEN 7 2700X 8X4.35GHZ/20MB BOX – AMD CPU AM4 RYZEN 7 2700X 8X4.35GHZ / 20MB BOX WITHOUT GRAPHICS / WRAITH PRISM COOLER YD270XBGAFBOX
These processors incorporate massive performance improvements in all aspects, meaning that AMD s Ryzen quad-core, hexa-core and octa-core CPUs outperform their predecessors and combine innovative features with a pioneering platform, as well as state-of-the-art I/O interfaces. The new AMD Zen architecture is so flexible and versatile that it can be installed on high-end desktop platforms as well as mainstream APUs using integrated graphics and allowing processors to scale from high-performance data center servers to the end. AMD ZEN – THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE FUTURE The AMD Ryzen 7 2700X is a new generation Summit Ridge processor with eight logical CPU cores that, thanks to Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT), are capable of processing two threads simultaneously in each core. This means that the number of processor cores is supplemented by the addition of eight additional virtual cores to make a total of 16 cores effective. The top-of-the-range 8-core model runs at a clock rate of 3.7 GHz per core and, thanks to the implementation of Precision Boost, performs real-time optimization according to processor performance demands. This is true for both games and applications, instantly adjusting in precise 25 MHz increments within the TDP frame to a maximum of 4.3 GHz. The chip architecture also produces less heat and operates quieter than any of its predecessors and is specially designed and optimized to work with high clock frequencies. These optimizations are due in part to drastic improvements in power efficiency and 95 watts of thermal design power (TDP) from the CPU cores.
